Arrest of 3 Rab officers anytime: Asaduzzaman

State Minister for Home Affairs Asaduzzaman Khan on Monday said the three officials of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab), sacked for their alleged involvement in Narayanganj seven murders, will be arrested any time in compliance with the High Court order. “The process of arresting the three dismissed Rab officials is on. They’re under our watch and they’ll be arrested anytime following the due legal procedure,” he said. The junior minister was talking to reporters after a meeting on anti-militancy measures at his ministry. He also said they have started their works following the High Court order to arrest the three Rab officials. Earlier, on Sunday, the High Court ordered the government to take necessary steps for arresting the three Rab officials -- Rab-11 commanding officer Lt Col Tareque Sayeed Mohammad, Major Arif Hossain and Lieutenant Commander Masud Rana, according to UNB.
