Arrest of Kalshi-violence culprits demanded

Urdu Speaking Peoples Youth Rehabilitation Movement (USPYRM) Thursday demanded immediate arrest of the culprits involved in the Kalshi violence that left 10 people dead last month, according to a news agency.
The demand was made at a press conference at the Jatiya Press Club in the capital.
Expressing frustration, USPYRM leaders alleged that the killers and patrons of the Kalshi incident were not arrested even after 40 days into the shocking incident although there are clear evidence against them, including video footages of the killing and the plundering.
They also demanded that a retired judge-led panel conduct investigation in to the incident, saying otherwise the victims will not get justice as the ruling party men were directly involved in the killings.
The speakers threatened to wage a movement if the killers are not arrested and the security of the camp is not ensured within 15 days.
