Arrest warrant against Amar Desh acting editor

A Magura court Monday issued arrest warrant against acting editor of daily Amar Desh and two of his colleagues on charge of publishing 'false report' about Prime Minister's son Sajeeb Wazed Joy and energy adviser Dr Tawfiq-e-Elahi Chowdhury, reports UNB.
Two more defamation suits were filed Monday against the three, one in Magura and another in Chittagong, in connection with the report that implicated the duo in graft over a gas-sector-project deal with American oil-company Chevron.
