Arrest warrant against SQ Chy

TANGAIL, Sept 10 (UNB): An arrest warrant was issued Thursday against BNP lawmaker Salahuddin Quader Chowdhury in a treason case filed here for his reported subversive comments in his recent salvo.
Judicial Magistrate Mohammad Wayez Al Baruni of the cognisance court issued the warrant in the case filed by Advocate Abdur Rahim Mollah, Vice-president of the district unit of Jubo League, the ruling Awami League's youth wing.
Rahim filed the case on August 19, alleging that Salahuddin was involved in "unseating the then elected government" as well as "killing Bangabandhu" along with most of his family members in 1975.
