ASA starts distributing Tk 1.00m interest-free loan in B'baria

BRAHMANBARIA, Aug 16: Association for Social for Advancement(ASA started distributing Tk 1.00 million interest-free loan among one thousand flood victims in the district.
ASA arranged a loan distribution function at Char-Chartala of Ashuganj upazila. Brahmanbaria district Deputy Commissioner (DC) Md. Abdul Hai was present at the loan distribution function as the special guest.
Major Mamun of joint force, ASA Assistant Director Md. Darbesh Ali and ASA Zonal Manager Azizul Hoque were also present as special guests.
ASA also distributed relief materials worth Tk 1,50,000. Relief materials were Paracetamol tablet and syrup, Metronidazol tablet and syrup, oral saline, fitkiri, bleaching powder, water purification tablet etc.
The relief operations were carried out by ASA district managers (south and north) Ajit Kumer Saha and Md. Nazrul Islam, ASA regional manager Md. Kamal Miah Chodhury, Md. Tajul Islam, Md. Aminul Islam and Md. Abjal Hossain.
