ASA to disburse Tk 477.48m in Brahmanbaria

BRAHMANBARIA, July 21: Association for Social Advancement (ASA) has set a target of disbursing loan amounting to TK 477.48 million among the poor through its 53 branches in Brahmanbaria district during the July-December period this year.
It was revealed at a press conference arranged by the district office of ASA on its premises in the town Wednesday on the occasion of celebrating its clinching the top position in micro-credit disbursement.
ASA Deputy Director Abu Hasnat Chowdhury presided over the programme where the Brahmanbaria press club president was present as the chief guest.
ASA Zonal Manager Azizul Hoque was also present as special guest. ASA District Manager (DM) Ajit Kumar Saha gave welcome address to the newsmen present there.
