ASC, RV, FC hold reunion

KHULNA, Nov 2 (BSS): Fourth reunion and annual commanders' conference-2010 of Army Service Corps (ASC) and Remount Veterinary and Farm Corps (RV and FC) was held at Jahanabad Cantonment here Tuesday.
Chief of Army Staff General Abdul Mubeen attended the reunion parade at Shaheed Lieutenant Colonel Anwar Parade Ground as the chief guest.
He reviewed the smartly turned-out parade and took salute at the impressive march past.
The Army Chief gave heartiest greetings to young and senior officers of the Corps present on the occasion and reminded for more commitment to discharging the duties given by the government.
General Mubeen said new generation commanders of ASC and RV and FC would maintain already achieved honour and glory of the Corps and at the same time, they would enhance its image step by step.
Later, Darbar of the chief guest was held at Cantonment Public School Play Ground.
Among others, Colonel Commandant Major General Mohammad Mahboob Haider Khan, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 55 Infantry Division Major General M Matiur Rahman, GOC ARTDOC Major General Anwar Hussain, Commandant ASCC & S Brigadier General Md Zafar Ullah Khan and serving and retired senior army officers of the Corps were present on the occasion.
