Asia, Europe, Africa, S America, four main destinations for China's car export

HEFEI, Aug. 7 (Xinhua): Asia, Europe, Africa and South America have constituted four main destinations for China's car export, and the establishment of China-Chile Free Trade Zone has made the sales of Chinese home-brand cars in Chile grow abruptly, according to a half year car export report published by the Auto Branch of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronics Products (CCCME) recently.
China's car export to the four continents amounted to more than 99 per cent of its total export.
Statistics show that the export to Europe has made up 31 per cent of the total in value an 33 per cent in volume.
By country, Russia is the largest car export destination, with export value of 770 million US dollars and export volume of 50,500 units in the first half of this year, up 70.2 per cent and 30.7 per cent year on year respectively.
The export to Russia made up 15.4 per cent of China's total car export value and 13.0 per cent of its total car export volume.
