Asiad Football Bangladesh put in Group B

Bangladesh has been placed in Group B of the 17th Asian Games Men's Football that will begin in the South Korean city of Incheon from September 14, reports UNB.
The Group B comprises Uzbekistan, Hong Kong, Bangladesh and Afghanistan as per the tournament's grouping and fixture finalised through a ceremonial draw held Thursday.
Bangladesh will start their Asian Games Football campaign taking on Hong Kong on September 15 at the Hwaseong Sports Complex and meet Uzbekistan on Sept 18 at the Namdong Asaid Rugby Field and Afghanistan on Sept 22 at Munhak Stadium.
A total of 29 Asian nations, split into eight groups, will compete in the Asian soccer battle.
Later, champions and runners-up teams from each of the eight groups will qualify for the round of 16.
