Asian mkts cautious on Chinese growth

HONG KONG, Apr 16 (AFP): Asian markets struggled to find a clear direction Thursday amid cautious sentiment following a sharp slowdown in Chinese economic growth that renewed concern about the global economy.
The region had got off to a strong start as dealers took their cue from overnight gains on Wall Street ahead of key US bank results and housing figures.
