Asian Youth Games torch in city

Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) received Wednesday the torch of the 1st Asian Youth Games concluded in Singapore in July 2009, reports BSS.
The official torch will be kept at BOA.
BOA Secretary General Kutubuddin Ahmed in a message said, "The torch is not just a commemorative to us. It reveals a strong fraternity among the Asian nations through sports. I thank the Singapore Asian Youth Games Organising Committee for sharing a part of their success."
It is mentionable that Bangladesh took part in Athletics, Swimming, Shooting and Basketball (3 on 3) in the first Asian Youth Games.
