ASM Feroz appointed Chief Whip

Awami League lawmaker ASM Feroz has been appointed chief whip of the 10th Jatiya Sangsad. An MP from Patuakhali-2, he was a whip of the 9th parliament. The Parliament Secretariat published a gazette notification Friday appointing the chief whip and five whips, Parliament Secretariat sources said. The newly-appointed whips are Iqbalur Rahim (Dinajpur 3), Atiur Rahman Atik (Sherpur-1), Shahiduzzaman Sarkar (Naogaon-2), Mohammad Shahab Uddin (Moulvibazar-1) and Soleman Haque Joarder (Chuadanga-1). — BSS
