Assoc formed to popularise usage of solar power

Some 50 solar and renewable energy entrepreneurs have formed a new platform named 'Bangladesh Solar and Renewable Energy Association (BSREA)' aiming to popularise the usage of solar power across the country.
Founding Chairman of Bright Green Energy Foundation Dipal Barua has been elected as President of the BSREA, while Director of Allied Solar Energy Mostafa Al Mahmud as General Secretary.
Group Director of Rahim Afrooz Monwar F Moin has been elected as Senior Vice President of the BSREA, said a press release.
Vice Chairman of Navana Group Saiful Islam Sumon and Director of Energy Pac Nurul Akhter have been elected as Vice Presidents of the association.
Shah Mohammad Sajjad Hossain and Rafiuddin Ahmed have been elected as Joint Secretaries of the association.
Rafiqul Islam has been elected as the Treasurer of the BSREA.
The BSREA also elected 11 executive members in its newly formed committee that include Syed Moazzem Hossain, Asma Haq, Ruhil Ahmed, Naser Maksud Khan, Ansar Ali, Hassan Raza, Harun-or-Rashid, Bashir Ahmed, Bimol Kumar Chandra, Data Magfur and Zahurul Haq Bali.
