Atlas Bangladesh AGM approves 100pc cash dividend

The 24th annual general meeting (AGM) of Atlas Bangladesh Limited has approved 100 per cent cash dividend.
The AGM was held on the factory premises at Tongi in Gazipur Saturday, said a press release.
Chairman of the Bangladesh Steel and Engineering Corporation (BSEC) and Chairman of the board of directors of the company SMA Mannan presided over the meeting.
A large number of shareholders attended the meeting.
Among others, directors Elias Ahmed, Ahsan Zakir, AFM Saifuzzaman, Md Mojibur Rahman, Md Saiful Islam and Nasima Akter were present at AGM.
The meeting was told that the company earned a pre-tax profit of Tk 128.80 million during 2007-2008.
