Monday, 2 July 2018

BNP on Sunday strongly condemned Saturday's 'barbaric' attack on the leaders of anti-quota movement by Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) on the Dhaka University campus, reports UNB.
"Chhatra League is a dangerous anti-democratic force in educational institutions. They launched a heinous attack yesterday (Saturday) on the students involved in the anti-quota movement," said BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi.
Speaking at a press briefing at BNP's Nayapaltan central office, he alleged that the BCL men equipped with sharp weapons attacked selected leaders of the movement, leaving them seriously injured.
"BNP strongly protest and condemn the barbaric attack on the anti-quota demonstrators," Rizvi added.
