Attract tourists ahead of T-20 WC: Menon

Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon on Wednesday directed the officials concerned to take effective measures to attract tourists centring the upcoming T-20 World Cup cricket. “The upcoming T-20 World Cup has created a big opportunity for Bangladesh to attract tourists. It will help flourish country’s tourism sector,” he said. The Minister said this while addressing a meeting at the secretariat. The meeting was held regarding the approval of Bangladesh Tourism Board’s sponsorship with the ICC at the T-20 World Cup, according to a news agency.
