Australia take Games record to win team sprint gold

NEW DELHI, Oct 8 (AFP): Australia kept up their devastating assault on the track cycling medals with a new Commonwealth Games record in the men's team sprint to take their 11th gold of the tournament on Friday.
The Australian team of Daniel Ellis, Jason Niblett and Scott Sunderland powered around the Indira Gandhi velodrome in 43.772sec, ahead of rivals New Zealand in 44.239sec.
Malaysia won the bronze medal ahead of Scotland.
