Australia women arrive for first-ever bilateral series against Tigresses

BCB announces women's squad

Australia women's cricket team arrived in Dhaka on Sunday for a first-ever bilateral series against Bangladesh ahead of the T20 World Cup, report agencies.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced on Saturday a 15-member final squad of Bangladesh Women's ODI team to play the three-match ODI home series against Australian women's team in Dhaka.
The ODI series will be the part of the 1CC women's Championship for 2022-2025.
Australia are touring with a strong side as a preparation ahead of the Women's T20 World Cup in Bangladesh later this year.
Nigar Sultana Joyti led Bangladesh team will play Australian side on March 21, 25 and 27 in Dhaka.
Bangladesh women's team will also play a three-match T20 series against the Australian women's also in Dhaka on March 31, April 02 and April 04.
Three players--Shamima Sultana, Lata Mondal and Sharifa Khatun were dropped from the previous team while two players--Nishita Akter and Fargana Haque Lisa included in the squad
Bangladesh ODI squad: Nigar Sultana (Captain), Nahida Akter (Vice Captain), Fargana Haque Pinki, Murshida Khatun, Sobhana Mostary, Sworna Akter, Ritu Moni, Rabeya Khan, Sultana Khatun, Fahima Khatun, Mahrufa Akter, Disha Biswas, Sumaiya Akter, Nishata Akter Nishi and Fargana Haque Lisa.
