Australian firm hired for Dhaka-Ctg Expressway

The Roads and Highways Department (RHD) on Thursday hired an Australian consultancy firm to conduct a feasibility study and prepare a design for Dhaka-Chittagong Expressway Construction Project. RHD chief engineer Mofizul Islam Rajkhan and team leader of Australian consultancy firm SMEC International Pvt Ltd Gavin Harold Strid signed an agreement at Sarak Bhaban in the capital. RHD senior officials were present on the occasion, said a press release of the Communications Ministry, according to a news agency.
