Australia's growth slowing to half long-term verage

SYDNEY, Aug 20 (BSS/AFP) - Australia's economic growth in coming months will be almost half the long-term average, according to a survey released today.
The monthly Westpac-Melbourne Institute leading index, which indicates the likely pace of economic activity three to nine months into the future, showed annualised growth of 2.0 per cent in June.
