Authorities asked to present Labour Policy in next JS session

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Labour and Employment Ministry Tuesday asked the authorities concerned to present the bill for modernisation of National Labour Policy 1980 in Parliament in the next session, reports BSS.
The 14th meeting of the committee also issued directives to the authorities to present the bills for Labour Welfare Foundation Act 2006 and Bangladesh Labour Act 2006 in the next session.
The meeting was held at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban with the committee Chairman M Israfil Alam in the chair.
The committee members: State minister for Labour and Employment Begum Munnujan Sufian, Noni Gopal Mandol, M Zakir Hossain and Raoshan Jahan attended the meeting.
The meeting was told that the draft of National Labour Policy 2010 has already been finalised giving priority to the spirit and values of the liberation war. It would be posted on the website soon to get feedback from the people.
