Auto-rickshaw driver slaughtered

Some miscreants slaughtered to death a CNG-run auto-rickshaw driver and dumped his body in Charchuala area in Chhatak Upazila in Sylhet at sometime between Sunday and early Monday. The victim was identified as Ashik, 30, an auto-rickshaw driver by profession. Locals found his slit throat body in Charchuala area on Monday morning and informed Chhatak Police Station. Police rushed to the spot and recovered the body and sent it to Sunamganj Sadar Hospital for autopsy, according to a news agency.
