Auto-rickshaw snatched stabbing driver

Muggers looted a CNG-run auto-rickshaw stabbing its driver in Mohammadpur upazila of Marura district on Saturday afternoon. The injured was identified as Emon Sheikh, son of Mona Miah, a resident of Konutia village. Police said a gang of muggers attacked Emon and stabbed him indiscriminately in Telipukur area in the afternoon, leaving him critically injured. The thugs feld the scene taking away his auto-rickshaw. However, local people caught Sajib, a gangster, after a chase. Rescued by the locals, the injured was admitted to Mohammadpur upazila health complex. Atiar Rahman, officer-in-charge of Mohammadpur Police Station, confirmed the incident. A case was filed, according to UNB.
