Autorickshaw strike suspended

Owners of CNG-driven autorickshaws have postponed their strike in Dhaka till June 8. Dhaka Metropolitan CNG Autorickshaw Owners Association called the strike demanding validity of the vehicles to be extended to 15 years. The communications ministry issued a circular on Tuesday saying it raised the validity of the CNG-powered autos on recommendations of the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), according to bdnews24.com.
