Tuesday, 22 March 2022

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Benazir Ahmed has said Bangladesh Police will be able to achieve three-dimensional capability after launching of its newly-formed aviation wing, reports UNB.
The Aviation Wing also will play a vital role in quick communication, conducting important operations, search operations and rescue operations in remote areas, he said.
The IGP was exchanging views with a delegation of Army Aviation School led by Major General IKM Mostahsinul Baki, Group Commander of Army Aviation Group in Police Headquarters in the city on Monday.
Saying that the Army Aviation School has been playing a special role in training the pilots of the newly-formed aviation wing of Bangladesh Police, Benazir said the armed forces, especially the army, have good professional relations and cooperation with Bangladesh Police. The field of such cooperation would be further enhanced and consolidated in the future, he hoped.
The IGP said the Bangladesh Army and Bangladesh Police have a long history and tradition of working shoulder to shoulder together in any need and crisis of the country.
Comparing security with oxygen, the IGP said just as no human being can survive without oxygen, a society or state cannot be imagined without security.
He said Bangladesh Police is engaged in providing security to the lives and property of 180 million people of the country.
