Awal made chairman of NSU Foundation

MA Awal, a founder life member of the North South University Foundation (NSUF) that has established the North South University (NSU), has been unanimously elected as the chairman of the foundation and the university for the 2008-2009 terms.
The election was held in the 16th annual general meeting (AGM) of the foundation recently, said a press release.
Mr. Awal, a science graduate from the University of Dhaka and a graduate in advance management from Germany, has previously served the foundation and the university as the chairman for two consecutive terms of two years each during 1995-1997 and 1997-1999.
He is the chairman and managing director of Prime Group of Industries.
