Social Investment Bank Limited (SIBL) elected Abdul Awal Patwary chairman of the bank unanimously in its 157th board meeting in the city Thursday.
Sayedur Rahman and Nasiruddin have been elected vice chairmen of the SIBL at the meeting. Humayun Kabir Khan and Munshi Akhtaruzzaman were also elected executive committee chairmen and Kamaluddin Ahmed chairman of the audit committee.
Abdul Awal Patwary is the chairman of Patwary Group of Companies, Patwary Cold Storage Ltd, Patwary Potato Flakes Ltd and Greentech Green House Bangladesh Ltd. He is also the managing director of Foysal Shopping Complex Ltd.
Nasiruddin is the proprietor of Nasim Trading Company and chairman of Northern General Insurance Ltd.
Sayedur Rahman is the managing director of Lodestar Fashions Ltd and Mid Asia Fashions Ltd.
