'Awareness, medicare can reduce common gynecological disorders'

RANGPUR, June 7 (BSS) : Expert physicians at a scientific seminar Saturday said awareness and medicare services could reduce common gynecological disorders and help build a healthy nation with healthy mothers and children.
They said this while addressing the scientific seminar titled 'Common gynecological disorders' organised by Rangpur Branch of Bangladesh Private Medical Practitioners' Association (BPMPA) at Parjatan Motel auditorium at the town.
Sponsored by Acme Laboratories Ltd, the seminar was chaired by ex-consultant of the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics of Rangpur Medical College (RMC) Dr Humaira Khanum.
Principal and head of the Gynecology and Obstetrics Department of the RMC Dr Azizul Islam attended the seminar as the chief guest while Gynecology and Obstetrics Consultants of RMC Dr Anicha Begum and Dr Aziza Begum were the special guests.
President of Rangpur unit of BPMPA Dr M Hedayetul Islam, its Secretary Dr Shamsul Haque, Assistant Sales Manager of the Acme Laboratories Ltd Golam Kibria, Dr Anjuman Ara Begum, Dr Hamida Begum and Dr Ferdousi Sultana were present at the seminar.
Some 70 physicians and private practitioners from all over the district took part.
