AWF observes 3rd founding anniversary

Autism Welfare Foun-dation (AWF) observed its third founding anniversary with a range of programmes featuring a two-day exhibition of handicrafts made by the autistic children, discussion and a cultural soiree on the Central Public Library premises in the city Friday.
Power and Energy Adviser Tapan Chowdhury attended the function as the chief guest while the AWF Chairperson Rownak Hafiz and member Hafizur Rahman Khan, among others, were present on the occasion.
At the discussion, speakers laid emphasis on creating awareness and bringing about a basic change in mentality among the people about the autistic children. They said by providing them with proper care and education, the autistic children can showcase their talent and potentials in various fields.
