Ayesha new project director of Southeast Bank Foundation

Professor Ayesha Shireen Rahman has recently joined Southeast Bank (SEB) Foundation as project director, said a press release.
She has been appointed in the position to augment the pace of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities of the bank through the foundation.
As project director, she will innovate, prioritise and implement social activity programmes for the needy and the neglected section of the society in the field of healthcare, poverty alleviation, education, etc.
Professor Ayesha Shireen received her Master's degree in Physics from Dhaka University in 1969.
In 1988, she did her Master's in Technical Change and Industrial Strategies from the Victoria University of Manchester, UK.
She was the principal of Government Jagannath College, Dhaka. During her tenure with her untiring efforts, the long felt need to upgrade the college' into a university came into being.
She had been appointed as the first project director of the Jagannath University. She retired from the post in 2006.
