Krishibid M Azmal Hossain of FMC Chemical International and Krishibid Musfiqur Rahman of Haychem (Bangladesh) Limited have been elected chairman and general secretary (GS) of Bangladesh Crop Protection Association (BCPA) at the 28th annual general meeting (AGM) of the BCPA at a city hotel recently, said a press release.
Other office-bearers of the association are Vice-chairman Mujibur Rahman of SAM Agro Chemical, Joint Secretary Md Moinul Islam of Syngenta Bangladesh Limited, Organising Secretary Md Habibur Rahman of BASF Bangladesh Limited, Publicity Secretary Md Robiul Islam Khan of Sea Trade Fertiliser Limited, Treasurer Syed AM Asfakul Abedin of Auto Crop Care Limited, and Executive Committee members AKM Azad of Agritech, Shaikh Md Abu Sayeed of East West Chemicals Limited, Sadiqul Islam of Shetu Pesticides Limited, Mir Mizanur Rahman of Square Pharmaceuticals Limited and Md Mizanur Rahman Khan of The Limit Agro-products Limited.
The newly elected office-bearers pledged to resolve the outstanding problems of the industry.
