BACI donates money to CA's Relief Fund

The Bangladesh Association of Construction Industry (BACI) has donated Tk 0.50 million to the Chief Advisor's (CA) Relief Fund to help the flood-hit people of the country.
President of the association Syed Mosharraf Hossain and Vice President Nazrul Islam handed over the cheque to the CA at his office in the city recently, said a press release.
Receiving the cheque, the CA thanked the representatives of BACI for serving the cause of humanity and stressed the need for helping the farmers who are the backbone of the nation producing food for the people of Bangladesh.
They work very hard for their livelihood and produce food, the CA mentioned. Many of their houses have been completely damaged by the flood.
The CA assured the BACI representatives that the donated money would be utilised for reconstruction of hoses of farmers of flood-affected areas, the release added.
