BAEC ex-chairman Monzurul dies

Engr Dr Md Monzurul Haque (67), former chairman of the Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission (BAEC), died at a city hospital on Tuesday. His namaz-e-janaja was held at the BAEC headquarters in the capital, said a press release.
He left behind his wife, son, daughter and a host of relatives and friends.
Dr Haque started his career with the BAEC in 1981, and was appointed its chairman in 2017. In his long career, he contributed to its research and development activities.
