BAEC holds views exchange meeting

A view exchange meeting of the Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission (BAEC) was held in Dhaka on Wednesday. Md Anwar Hossain, Secretary, Ministry of Science and Technology, Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission Chairman Dr Md Mojibur Rahman and Member Dr Debashis Pal attended the meeting. The meeting focused on "Importance, prospects and engineering of nuclear science and technology in regional socio-economic development". Eminent nuclear scientists highlighted the significance of nuclear science and technology for socio-economic development. They also shared opinions on future initiatives in nuclear engineering and research aimed at strengthening the scientific capacity of Bangladesh.
