BAF hockey meet ends

Inter-Base Hockey Competition-2014 concluded at the Bangladesh Air Force Base Bir Shreshtho Matiur Rahman play ground in Jessore Monday, reports BSS.
In the final match, the Bangladesh Air Force Base Bir Shreshtho Matiur Rahman team clinched the title defeating the Bangladesh Air Force Base Bashar team by 2-1 goal.
AC-2 Prosenjit of the Bangladesh Air Force Base Zahurul Haque team was adjudged the best player in the competition.
Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Administration) Air Vice Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat witnessed the final match as the chief guest and distributed prizes among the winners. Earlier, Air Officer Commanding of the local Base Air Commodore M Sayed Hossain inaugurated the competition as the chief guest. Senior BAF officers from Air Headquarters and local base, airmen and other members of the base, among others, were present at the ceremony.
