BAFEDA happy with overall forex market situation

The 12th monthly meeting of the executive committee of the Bangladesh Foreign Exchange Dealers' Association (BAFEDA) was held at the conference room of the association recently, sad a press release.
BAFEDA Vice-Chairman and Sonali Bank Limited Managing Director S M Aminur Rahman presided over the meeting.
Officials from the member banks of the executive committee attended the meeting.
The meeting reviewed the overall situation of inter-bank foreign exchange market and noted with satisfaction that transactions in the inter-bank foreign exchange market were going on smoothly and that the exchange rates of Taka against other foreign currencies depicted an orderly behaviour.
The members expressed the view that the satisfactory situation in the forex market could be possible thanks to joint efforts of the member banks.
