BAF\\\'s certificate awarding ceremony held

BOGRA, Jun 16 (BSS): Certificate-awarding ceremony of Flying Instructors Course of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) was held at Flying Instructors' School (FIS), Arulia in the district Monday.
Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Muhammad Enamul Bari attended the ceremony as the chief guest and distributed certificates among 12 student officers.
In his speech, the air chief said now student officers are the part of respectable group of instructors, which will enable them to train the students into defender of the sky of the country. He thanked Officer Commanding of Flying Instructors' School, Flying Instructors' and all concerned to the training for their effort to complete the course successfully.
Squadron Leader Ashiqur Rahman Mallick was adjudged the best all-round student officer and was awarded with the prestigious 'Mofiz Trophy.'
Officer Commanding of Flying Instructors' School (FIS) Wing Commander Md Enamul Karim gave a brief resume on the courses conducted by the school.
Among others, Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Operations & Training) Air Vice Marshal Abu Esrar along with other senior officers from Air Headquarters, Air Officer Commanding of BAF Base Bir Shresto Matiur Rahman, Bangladesh Army and members of the institution including invited guests were also present on the occasion.
