Baghabari power plant resumes operation on trial basis

SIRAJGANJ, Feb 9 (UNB): Baghabari 71-megawatt power plant of PDB resumed its operation on trial basis after two years.
A PBD press release Thursday said the power plant stopped its production following a technical fault on February 26, 2006.
After failure to repair a damaged socket locally, it was sent abroad. Later, the power plant started its production on January 21 this year after connecting a new socket.
