Bahrain keen to invest in textile, power, petro-chemical sectors

Business community of Bahrain has showed keen interest to invest in the country's textile and garment, power, petro-chemical and financial sector, reports UNB.
The community is also interested to import readymade garments, food products, spices, frozen shrimp and medicines from Bangladesh.
It was disclosed when a high-level Bangladeshi business delegation visited Bahrain and met with the leading Bahraini businessmen, including Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Ebrahim Joynal, recently.
Observing the potentiality, the visiting business delegation has decided to take part in a trade fair in Bahrain, where Bangladeshi products will be displayed.
Dhaka International Exhibition Company is coordinating with the Bangladeshi participating companies as the event management company.
Bangladesh embassy in Bahrain has already written letters to Export Promotion Bureau, Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Foreign Affairs for cooperating the fair organiser to tap the potential market.
