Bakhrabad Gas official killed in road crash

An official of Bakhrabad Gas Distribution Company Limited (BGDCL) was killed in a road accident on Comilla-Brahmanbaria highway in Pirbari area of Brahmanbaria town on Thursday morning. The dead is Yakub Ali Khan, manager of Bakhrabad Gas Distribution and Transmission. Police said the accident took place when a speeding private car ran over Yakub while he was crossing the road in the area around 6:00am, leaving him critically injured. Later, he succumbed to his injuries while being rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital from a hospital in Brahmanbaria district town, according to bdnews24.com.
