Balaka Exchange Singapore, IBBL sign remittance agreement

Balaka Exchange Pte. Ltd., Singapore, a wholly-owned subsidiary of National Bank Limited, has signed a remittance agreement with Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited in the city recently. The remittance agreement was signed to facilitate remittances by the Bangladeshi expatriates residing in Singapore through all the branches of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) by TT & EFT (electronic fund transfer) system to their near and dear ones in Bangladesh, said a press release.
The signing ceremony was attended by Md Abdur Rahman Sarker, managing director, National Bank Limited, Sohail Hasan, director, Balaka Exchange Pte. Ltd., and Md Habibur Rahman, deputy executive president & Head of International Banking Wing and Md Siddiqur Rahman, Assistant Vice President & Head of Foreign Remittance Management Division of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited.
Since inception National Bank Limited is providing remittance services to the Bangladesh expatriates living all over the world and achieved remarkable success in the flow of inward remittance to the country, among the private banks in Bangladesh.
