Bandit loots valuables from dy jailor's house

CHITTAGONG, Nov 22: A bandit has looted cash and valuables from the residence of a Deputy Jailor of Chittagong central jail Sunday.
Kotwali police said, the bandit knocked the door of Deputy Jailor Tajul Islam's residence in the jail officers' quarters and asked his wife to give him the cell number of the Deputy Jailor.
As the new-wed wife tried to contact her husband over phone, the youth entered the house and looted cash Tk 13, 000, a gold chain, a mobile phone and a gold ring at dagger's point. Upon getting a ring tone from his wife Tajul rushed to his residence and found his wife lying on the ground but she was unhurt.
