Bandits loot valuables from house

Bandits swooped on the house of a bank official in Hatem Khan Boro Masjid area of the city and looted valuables worth about Tk 1.0 million Saturday.
Sources said the gang numbering 7/8 entered the house of Janata Bank official Abul Kashem at about 12:45 pm.
They tied up Abul Kashem and his family members and took away 20/25 tolas of gold ornaments, Tk 0.2 million in cash and other valuables at gun point.
