Bangabandhu Chair opens in Bangkok today

The first ever Bangabandhu Chair, a Ph.D level doctoral fellowship, would be opened at Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Bangkok, Thailand today (Thursday), reports BSS.
Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali, who is now in Bangkok, and his Thai counterpart Don Pramudwinai will jointly inaugurate the "Bangabandhu Chair" at the AIT, foreign ministry spokesperson said here on Wednesday.
The "Bangabandhu Chair" is a Ph.D level doctoral fellowship endowed by the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to the AIT for research on the contemporary topic of 'Sustainable and Integrated Smart Energy Modelling' in the context of Bangladesh and other developing countries.
