Bangabandhu murder case judge Golam Rasul dies

Kazi Golam Rasul, trial judge of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman murder case, died of old-age complications here this morning. He was 73, reports BSS.
He breathed his last at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of United Hospital in the capital around 9.35 am, hospital sources said.
Golam Rasul, who was admitted to the hospital on November 26, was under the supervision of Dr Sazzad Hossain and Dr Md Moniruzzaman.
He left his wife, three daughters and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
Golam Rasul, a former member of the Public Service Commission, was scheduled to be buried at Banani Graveyard after Namaz-e-Janaza at Kakrail Circuit House Road Tiptop Jame Mosque after Asr prayers on the day.
