Bangabandhu\\\'s birth anniv observed in dists

PABNA, Mar 17: The 94th birthday of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was observed in Pabna on Monday with a befitting manner.
The district administration organised a colourful rally, discussion meeting and special prayer at different religious institutions.
The rally was brought out from Deputy Commissioner Office premises which paraded through the main streets of the district. District administration, Zila parishad and Mukhtijuddh unit placed floral wreaths at the portrait of Bangabandhu at the local central shaheed minar.
Pabna zila parishad administrator M Saidul Haque Chunnu, deputy commissioner Kazi Ashraf Uddin, police super Miraz Uddin Ahmed  were present at the ceremony.
The district administration arranged a discussion meeting at the Pabna town hall premises. Pabna zila parishad administrator M Saidul Haque Chunnu addressed the meeting as chief guest.
Our Chuadanga Correspondent reports: The 94th birth anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and also the National Children's Day   were celebrated in befitting manner Monday.
District administration and District Awami League and its associate body took elaborate programmes to mark the day.
In the morning, a colorful procession was brought out in the town from local Shilpakala Academy premises which ended at the same place after parading through different streets of the town. Students, teachers, professionals, NGO workers took part in the procession. Later the people placed floral wreaths at the portrait of Bangabandhu at Awami League's party office.  
Our Correspondent from Khulna reports: The National Children Day marking the 94th birthday of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was observed here Monday in Khulna with a befitting manner. Various government institutions, socio-cultural organisations and educational institutions chalked out elaborate programmes in observance of the day.
The daylong programmes included seminars, painting, and discussion meeting of the life of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
