Bangabandhu's birth anniversary observed in Narsingdi

NARSINGDI, Mar 19: National Children's Day and 90th birth anniversary of father of nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was observed with due respect and festivity in Narsingdi.
In the morning a procession paraded different roads, which started from Collectorate Office and ended at Town Hall. Discussion and cultural function was held arranged by district administration. Chil-dren of district Shishu Academy staged 'Gity Alekhya' on Bangabandhu.
A painting competition was arranged by District Chhatra League on Bangabandhu in Narsingdi pourasabha premises. Freedom fighters organised discussion and milad mahfil at local Moktijoddha office.
Awami League and its front organisations placed wreaths at the portrait of the father of the nation in front of district Awami league office in the morning.
