Bangabandhu\\\'s close associate Bazlu dies

Valiant freedom fighter (FF), close associate of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and president of Bangabandhu Sainik League Bazlur Rahman died early Monday in the capital at the age of 70, report agencies.
Family sources said that Bazlur Rahman had fallen sick all on a sudden at his Lalmatia residence and died on the way to Samarita Hospital at 2.15am.
He is survived by a son, a daughter, wife and a host of relatives and well wishers to mourn his death. Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina visited his residence at Mohammadpur at 9.30 Monday morning after hearing the death news of Bazlur Rahman, who was also a former liaison officer of the PM.
Prime Minister also stayed at his residence for an hour to convey her sympathy to the bereaved family members.
