Bangabandhu\\\'s homecoming day observed in distrists

GOPALGANJ, Jan 10: The historic homecoming day of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was observed here by Awami League and its front organisations and various other socio-cultural organisations in a befitting manner in Gopalganj today (Saturday).
The day's programme was inaugurated by hoisting of national flag and party flag at the central office in Gopalganj this morning at 7:30am. Floral wreaths were placed at the Bangabandhu's portrait at 7:35am.
Later at 10:00am, a Doa and Milad mahfil and special prayers was held at Bangabandhu Mazar premises at Tungipara, Gopalganj, where local and central Awami League (AL) leaders were present on the occasion.

Another BSS report from Rajshahi says: Local unit of Bangladesh Awami League and its front organizations observed the homecoming day of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in a befitting manner here today.
Marking the day, leaders and workers of the party hoisted national and party flags atop the party office and garlanded the portraits of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and four other national leaders in the morning.
They brought out a rally and paraded some of the city streets before being ended at the party office premises.
