Bangabandhu\\\'s memoirs translated into Japanese language

'The Unfinished Memoirs' of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman has been translated into Japanese language, reports BSS.
The 600-page Japanese version of the 'Memoirs of Bangabandhu' would provide an opportunity for the Japanese people to understand the Bangalee people through the life and thoughts of Bangabandhu, the greatest Bangalee of all time.
Kazuhiro Watanabe of NHK Bangla Department has translated the 'The Unfinished Memoirs' of Bangabandhu into Japanese language while the Ashahi Shoten Publishers, a prestigious publishing house in Japan, has published the book.
Watanabe arrived in Dhaka on Friday to hand over the Japanese version of the Memoirs to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in a formal meeting today (Sunday) at the Prime Minister's Office.
Kazuhiro Watanabe, the translator of "The Unfinished Memoirs", has a long career in NHK, the Japanese National Media, Bangla Department. Presently he is Chief Programme Director, Bangla Section, Radio Japan, NHK.
Another Khulna report adds: Khulna City Unit Awami League (AL) has taken 40-day long programme to observe the National Mourning Day and the 40th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The programme was decided at a meeting of the City Unit of AL last night at the party office with its president Talukder Abdul Khaleque, MP in the chair. General Secretary of city Unit AL Mizanur Rahman Mizan, MP and AL leader Shahidul Haque Mintu.
